Our hearts go out to you in this sad time. We are praying for you and wish you God’s nearness and closeness! May the Lord comfort you as only he can.
Dear Colleen and all of the Shonwise family,
It was with deep sadness that we learned of Steve’s passing. God’s Word says that “the death of His saints is precious in His sight”, yet the earthly parting is so very painful. We have memories of Steve as a quiet and humble man who loved his family and His God. We live in a home that is made more beautiful by the woodwork and cabinetry that Steve built. His legacy lives on in this and in many other ways beyond his impact within your family. We are praying for you.
My husband and I feel blessed that we had the opportunity to have got to know Steve this last year or so. Steve worked with a special friend of ours (Deb Berard). He arrived diligently to our home in Cold Stream every morning and performed amazing workmanship and skill. Steve was easy to talk to and had a special warmth that he emitted. I made several trips to Starbucks for us as Steve loved his coffee and their lemon loaf!!! Rick and I will always have a special place in our hearts for Steve and many memories in our home to remind us of Steve and Deb. We send our love and thoughts your way. God Bless
The purpose of life is to serve, show compassion and share ones knowledge with others. My heart goes out his beloved family please find comfort in the memory of his smiles and the knowledge he shared with us all
