I am so sorry to hear this news. I have thought very much about Mr. Stevens over the years as I am a teacher myself now. When I think of him, I reflect back on the kindness and compassion he showed to all of his students… despite challenging behaviours, he always was able to see the best in people. He is truly an inspiration to me. My heart goes out to all of his loved ones.

  • Don and Margaret McLellan says:

I can’t tell you how sorry we are to read of Mike’s passing away. I have a fond memory of Mike coming to prenatal classes on his own on one occasion when Maureen was unable to come– and sitting in the front row with a big smile on his face. He always seemed to have a big smile and was interested in everyone! Our heartfelt sympathy!
