  • Edwina, Grace, Nathen and family and Claude:
Many will agree, I’m certain, that Sandra is a great woman: tremendous drive, determination, creativity and talent. She was always giving of herself never wanting a return. She possessed incredible energy and utilized it joyfully each day. She was superb in all of her work and play endeavours. She will leave a legacy in the Okanagan valley: a roll model for many. In addition she had a great sense of humor. We shared tears, sweat and laughter through many projects in the 80s and 90s and a few in recent years. I, as countless others, have been blessed to have Sandra in our lives. At this point it feels impossible to imagine life without her. I hope that you take comfort in knowing how loved and cherished Sandra was by others and will remain so as we hold tight to those memories.
Much love and strength to you all
    Big hugs

    Tam

Sandra, my friend, I feel and see you all around me. Your work remains in my surroundings and the memory of each encounter in my heart. Until we meet again…
    Xo

  • A year ago I met up with Sandra on the mission greenway each of us enjoying our morning runs.. We chatted and ran off in different directions. As I continued along I thought what a kind and beautiful person Sandra was. She will be missed on the running paths. Deepest sympathy to all her family.
