We Remember

WARMOES, Phyllis Edna

Passed away peacefully on March 18, 2017 at the age of 95. Survived by her daughters Phyllis (Marvin) O’Connell of Peachland, Irene (James) Burrell of Summerland; grandchildren Caroline (Christopher), Pamela (Michael), Richard, David (Robyn); great grandchildren Kelsey, Kadin, Dylan, Emma, Jessica, Grayson, Adah, Presley and Cooper.  Predeceased by her husband Alfred Edward on January 18,1989 and her son Alfred William on June 19, 1977.

Phyllis was born in England on December 8, 1921.  She and her husband and 3 children came to Vancouver, BC. Canada in 1963. As a family, they operated several restaurants in Vancouver, Port Coquitlam, Maple Ridge and Peachland.  After her husband passed away, Phyllis retired to Summerland where she continued her favourite pastime of baking, and sharing the delicious results with friends and family. Heartfelt thanks to Dr LeBel and all the staff at the Dr Andrews Pavilion for their care of our mom.
