Our sincere sympathy to you Cathy and all the family. I have lots of great memories of Gene during our Kelowna Transit Days.
Gene was caring but independent person. He loved the outdoors and could be found there if not working. He loved his family and of course his dear wife Kathy with whom he spent travelling Canada and the U.S. Gene, you gave it your all. Now you can rest in the arms of God.You were a good man.
Dear Cathy:
We will surely miss having such a special friend in our lives. Someone who could instantly make you laugh with his quick wit and funny stories. His infectious laugh will always be in our memories. We are so sorry for the loss of your love, and our dear friend.

To my dearest friend and hunting partner of 24 years:
We had very good times, lots of laughs and now deep sadness.
We had our last hunt together, just weeks ago and in the fall 2014 we were successful! Something you really enjoyed was watching and hunting moose. It was your passion, among other wild game.
RIP Gene my friend, RIP
Cathy and Family, we send our deepest and sincerest condolences.

Cathy, Jen, Steve and family,
I’ve known Gene since I was a very young girl kicking around the Transit yard with my dad and later as an adult when I have many good memories of working with him and Cathy. Things were always fun and positive when Gene was around. He was a great people person and I always thought the world of him then and always will.
Please accept my sincere condolences on Gene’s passing. May your memories of the good times help you get through the tough days. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. RIP you big teddy bear. You certainly touched many lives with your big heart and spirit.
Dearest Cathy,
So sorry to hear about your loss of Gene.He lived life to the fullest.
Andrew, Mark and I all enjoyed his gregarious ways and his love of all things big, loud and gun related.Andrew remembers hours at the range and shooting off a small cannon with Genes expert guidance and learning to drive Genes quad. His kindness and unpretentious manner was really unique.
Our deepest condolences,
Anne, Mark and Andrew
Miss you uncle gene.
