We Remember
GREEP, Dennis
April 26, 1957 — April 9, 2014
It is with deep, and heavy sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Marvin Greep who passed away unexpectedly on April 9, 2014. Survived by his loving wife Heather of 11 ½ years, daughters Jennifer (Chris) Holt of Castlegar, Rosalyn (Nylan) LaFreniere of Fruitvale, son Wesley (Alexa) of Castlegar, granddaughters Ella and Kinsley and Heather’s family. Dennis was a quiet man who loved nothing more than to spend time with his dogs. He adored his two granddaughters and was thrilled whenever he got the chance to spend time with them. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed being outside. Words cannot express how much he was loved and will be missed. We will carry you in our hearts always!

Heather, although I have never met you, I send my deepest sympathy to you at this time. I am one of Dennis’s cousins out in Alberta. When I was young we would spend a lot of time at the Greep’s home and they at our Grama’s in Raymond.I am so sorry that you have to go thru this terrible thing. Please give my love to Jennifer, Rosalyn, and Wesley and give them a big hug from me and my family and know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Marilee
As I read over Dennis’s obituary, I realized they failed to mention Dennis has a Sister. Her name is Tami Stoesz and lives in California. I wish to express my love and sorrow to her at this painful time.
My condolences to Tammi, Heather and Dennis’ family. I too am a cousin from Alberta and over the years had lost touch with Dennis and Tammi, especially after uncle Earl passed. I remember Dennis as a gentle soul and always enjoyed family reunions and visiting Castlegar. My heart goes out to his wife and children, especially his grandchildren as they will miss out on spending time with someone as important as their grandpa, Dennis.
Heather I am a first cousin of Dennis and Tami. Dennis was one year older than me. I am saddened to learn that I was staying in Kelowna at the time of his death and didn’t even know about it. Here it is four years later. I am so sorry for your loss. To Jennifer, Rosalyn, Wesley, Ella, Kinsley and Tami I send my deepest regrets as well. May all who knew him and were touched by his loving soul be blessed with the “peace that passeth all understanding”. May he rest in peace.
