We Remember

LENZ, Alice (nee Stuerle)

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the age of 84 years.  Alice is survived and dearly missed by her family, son Bruce and his wife Yvonne, their daughter Coralee, their son Jeremy and his wife Bjaankka and their daughter Alana and son Ethan; son Gary and his wife Karen, their daughter Allison and their son Alden and his wife Jessica; daughter-in-law Marlene; brothers: Art Stuerle and his wife Ruth, Hugo Stuerle and his wife Agnes and sister-in-law Edeltraut Stuerle.  She will also be missed by her extended family and many good friends.  Alice was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Adolf in 2006 and two sons Richard and Robert, brother Adolf Stuerle.  We wish to thank Dr. Griswold and Brandt’s Creek Mews (Peach Trail) for the dignity, kindness and care shown to Alice during her years as a resident.  A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 10:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Samaritan’s Purse, 20 Hopewell Way NE, Calgary, Alberta, T3J 5H5, www.samaritanspurse.ca.  If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Share Your Condolences.”
