We Remember

NOVAKOWSKI, Frank Wayne

Frank passed away on October 23, 2018 at the age of 60.  He is survived by his loving wife Michelle, his daughters Chelsea (John) Martinolich and Victoria, sister Brenda (Pat), his parents Frank Sr. and Marie Novakowski.

Frank worked in the telephone industry as a cable splicer for over 30 years; first with CT&S, BC Tel and then Telus.  He was an active outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking, fishing, camping and biking but his first priority was always his family – his wife Michelle and his precious girls Chelsea and Tori.  He taught his girls to fish, hike, start a campfire and gave them a love for the outdoors.  They’ve grown to be strong, independent women because of his love.

Frank suffered with ALS for over 11 years without complaining.  He made the most of every day and took care of his family to the end. He is loved and will be missed every day.

A Private Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to ALS Society of BC, www.alsbc.ca.

Glad to hear he made the most of his time here on Earth and leaves behind a beautiful family. Peace be with all. From experience, time alone does not heal the pain but rather helps us deal with one day at a time. Remember all the wonderful times.
