We Remember

MOORE, Graham

1958 – 2021

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Graham Moore.

He was predeceased by his son, Chris Moore; brother Scott Moore; and both parents Tom and Luda Moore. Graham is survived by his daughter Melissa Moore; his grandchildren Hannah and Chrissy; long-standing friend and mother of his children Kim Moore; brothers Brent (Gladys) Moore and Ralph (Linda) Moore; sister-in-law Patti Moore and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graham was extremely passionate about sports, but particularly hockey and his Chicago Blackhawks. He started skating on the ice, hockey stick in hand, at a very early age. The Rockets games will never be the same without Papa. He was also a huge fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He travelled around Canada with his daughter to many sports venues.

He grew up in Yorkton, Saskatchewan with his 3 brothers and both parents. He often referred to his dad as his hero. He had a great love for the outdoors. He spent a lot of time fishing and camping over the years.

Graham had an extremely strong work ethic. He enjoyed working 30+ years on the roof and worked with many great people, including his son. He ended his career as a security guard which he thoroughly enjoyed, and was well respected.

The words that come to mind for those that knew Graham: compassionate, genuine, witty, kind, patient, and loving.

Graham will be remembered as a very loving grandfather to Hannah and Chrissy, and a great friend to many.

May you rest in peace Papa; “number 22, we want you!”

Service to be held at a later date (Covid-19 permitting) In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Freedom’s Door.
