We Remember
DOLBEL, Stuart W.
July 9, 1947 — April 1, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Stuart Dolbel on April 1, 2021, with Elaina at his side at Hospice House Kelowna.
He was born in Wellesley Hospital, Toronto, ON on July 9, 1947. Stuart grew up on the family farm in Lowville, ON and became a firefighter. He was an amazing and loving person, quiet and peaceful. Stuart loved all sports. He was a Triathlete who participated in Ironman Canada and Ironman Hawaii many times.
Stuart leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years, Elaina Dolbel. The loss of Stuart, who has been her Rock, is profound. He is also survived by many extended family members. Sadly, he was predeceased by his daughter Cariann Dolbel.
Elaina would like to extend her gratitude to her family and friends who have always been there for her and Stuart.
A Service of Remembrance will be held in August 2022 in Percé Quebec. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be sent to Hospice House Kelowna or Canadian Cancer Society.

Dear Elaina. My heart is breaking for you. Thoughts and prayers. Helen
Elaina, although I haven’t seen you and Stu in years I will always remember the great times we had together, driving to Penticton every weekend to cycle the Ironman course. He was an inspiration to me and a great guy who was always fun to be with. Both Judy and I are so sorry for your loss.
Dear Elaina and family. Jim and I are very sorry to hear that Stuart had passed. We always enjoyed his company and thought very highly of him. He was a kind and thoughtful guy who always greeted us with a smile.
I am very sorry for your loss and wish your family strength during this difficult time.
