We Remember
SLEEP, Arthur “Fergie” Ferguson
September 27, 1941 — March 14, 2026
It is with great admiration and love that we announce the loss of Arthur “Fergie” Sleep, who passed away at Kelowna General Hospital on March 14, 2026, at the age of 84.
Fergie was born on September 27, 1941, in Quebec, and carried a friendly, outgoing spirit with him throughout his life. He had a natural way with people, always ready to lend a hand or share a conversation, and found real joy in helping others. Whether he was trying his luck at the casino or playing online, he enjoyed the thrill of the game, just as much as he loved settling in to watch sports (any and all of them) cheering especially hard for his home BC teams.
A loyal and genuine friend, Fergie brought warmth and energy to those around him, and he will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Fergie’s honour to the Canadian Cancer Society.
If you wish to send a condolence, post photos, or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Condolences”.
