JEIDER, Amanda Jeanette
March 7, 1995 — June 7, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Amanda Jeanette Jeider on June 7, 2026, in Kelowna, BC.
Amanda was born on March 7, 1995, in North Vancouver, BC. She was a beloved daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend whose kindness, warmth, and compassion touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
She is lovingly remembered by her mother Windie Lee Jeider; father Larry Jeider and stepmom Stacey Dean; brother Lee (Brittany) Aspen, with a new baby girl on the way; brother Johnathan; stepsiblings Kelly, Hayley, and Steve; stepgrandparents Penny and Vern Dean; Auntie Joan (Chris); Uncle Sam (Lesley); Auntie Therise (Jim); Auntie Linda (Skip); and Auntie Donna (Tad). Amanda also leaves behind many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends. She was predeceased by her Grammy James, Grandpa James, Uncle Wayne, Grandma and Grandpa Jeider.
Amanda graduated from UBCO with a BA in Psychology and had planned on continuing her studies to become a psychologist. She spent many years in the hospitality industry, where her caring nature and desire to help others made a lasting impact on both colleagues and guests alike.
Her passions included drawing, painting, reading, writing, and bringing joy to those around her. She had a remarkable ability to make people smile and could light up a room with her infectious laugh, genuine smile, and beautiful soul. Her kindness, empathy, and love for others will always be remembered.
Amanda was dearly loved and will be missed beyond measure. Though her time with us was far too short, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

My deepest condolences to Amanda’s family and friends. I didn’t know her personally but know through her mother how wonderful she was as a person and how loved she was. I truly hope she soul can find peace and her heavenly journey is of peace joy and never ending happiness. My love and prayers go to all those who will miss her in their lives and pray they can continue their walk without until they meet again.
So sorry to hear of Amanda’s passing. I remember how tiny she was when we were growing up in Maplewood. Sending love and prayers to the family in this difficult time
I worked with Amanda at the Gulfstream restaurant. I am truly saddened by her passing. She was a wonderful, caring loving person.
