We Remember
NELSON, Kellie Anne
November 28, 1972 — August 28, 2026
It is with endless love and great sadness that we announce the loss of Kellie Anne Nelson, who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 53.
Left to hold her dear to their hearts are her mother, Betti; brother William; sister Diana (Dustin); niece Jacelynn; and her beloved cat, Little Man; along with many extended family members and friends.
She now goes to join those who passed before her, including her father Ernest; step-fathers Lorne and Bill; partner Darren; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Kellie was born on November 28, 1972, in Kamloops, BC, and raised in Revelstoke. She was feisty from a young age—stubborn, adventurous, and never afraid to do things her own way. As a child, she was a talented gymnast and loved to draw, something that brought out her creative side.
Kellie had a big heart, a constant smile, and was always willing to help someone who needed it. She loved music and, although she grew up listening to country, she was a rock fan through and through. Ozzy Osbourne, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd were among her favourites. She also loved motorcycles, especially Harley’s, and had a style all her own. She was always changing her hair and trying out wild new looks. Kellie enjoyed dressing up, loved nice things, and was always happy to go shopping.
Kellie also adored her cat, Little Man, who was a very special part of her life. She will be remembered for her strong personality, her adventurous spirit, her generous heart, and the smile she so often wore.
Those who knew and loved Kellie will miss her beyond words.
Family and friends will each honour Kellie in their own ways. No formal service will be held.
In memory of Kellie and her caring nature, donations may be made to Kelowna’s Gospel Mission or Turning Points Collaborative Society organizations that support those in need in our community. Helping others was important to Kellie, and a gift in her memory would be a meaningful way to honour her generous heart.
