We are so sorry to hear about your moms passing, we are not able to attend the service but our hearts are with you. Your mom was a big inspiration in our Christian life during our time in Lumby, and truly was a missionary for the Lord. We wish we could be with you all and caught up on how everyone is doing but guaranteed, we will all be together one day with our Lord and have a great Hope Chapel reunion.
God Bless you all
The Murphys
We are thankful for Mabel’s witness to the Lord through her life. We are supposed to recognize Christians by their love, and surely she displayed that love to her family and community. She was a rare model to follow, and we appreciate her light in a dark world. Thank you Jesus, for your faithful daughter, Mabel.
Mabel was such a great example of how Christians should love and serve others. We are grateful for the opportunity we had to know her and Joe during our time at Lumby.
We, along with Lida and Ryan, are sorry that we cannot join in the great celebration of her home-going on Sat.; it would be so nice to fellowship with you, our friends. May God bless with His presence and peace. (Our family is all gathering in Valemount for Thanksgiving weekend.)
Grandma was such a special lady. I can well remember the always delicious smells coming from the kitchen, her infectious humming (always got me humming for days after we left) and her selflessness and love for others. She led a wonderful life, raised wonderful children and spent her life in service to what she believed. I honor her life, appreciate the wonderful mother I had that she helped raise and have great gratitude for the time we were able to spend together. I love you grandma. Rest in heaven.
What a wonderful lady Mabel was!! I remember doing music with her many times. She was a real blessing/mentor to me. Thankyou Jesus for your faithful daughter. Sorry I can’t be there to celebrate her and to visit you all. love to all. Anne
Mom Werdal was one of the most beautiful women I had the pleasure to know in my life. She showed how to live a life by example – much better than words! I am so very grateful for her influence in my and our children’s lives. My sincere condolences to all her children – you’ve so much to be proud of in her and Dad!
