AXELSON, Walter (Wally)
May 3, 1934 — July 9, 2016
Passed away on July 9th, 2016 at the age of 82. Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Anita; Daughter Lisa of Kelowna; Sons Bill (Mary Anne) of Lake Country; Doug (Mirella) of Kelowna; Grandchildren Danielle (Travis), Brianne, David (Lindsay), Tyler and Thomas; Great-grandchildren Sierra and Tanner; Sisters May of Ontario, Linda of Langley and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wally was born in Nelson in 1934 and married Anita in 1958. He spent many years working for Safeway, but mostly enjoyed time with his family and friends. He will be remembered and missed by everyone who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held on September 11th 2016, Wally and Anita’s 58th wedding anniversary. Friends are welcome.

Dear Anita,and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss.I worked with Wally at Safeway,he was a Great meat cutter,and had a contagious Laughter.Wally was well liked ,and was awesome to work with.My Deepest Condolences to you Anita and All your Family.Looking forward to attending The celebration of life on Sept. 11 2016.
