We Remember

JASPER, John

May 9, 1943 — October 22, 2025

John went home to be with his Saviour and Lord on October 22, 2025. He passed peacefully in the morning while at home being cared for by his family.

He was a loving husband to his wife Trish; cherished father to his two children Dennis Jasper (Amy) and Danea Whitford (Scott); and beloved grandpa to his 5 grandchildren, Christopher, Kyle, Isaac, Serena, and Elliot.

John spent his working years in Kelowna as produce manager and manager at Coopers (Save On Foods).  He was very involved with his church community, teaching and serving on the board.  He was a powerful prayer warrior, encourager, and mentor to many.

A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM (PDT) at Mission Creek Alliance Church, 2091 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.

The family would like to thank John’s care team at Interior Health and all the care workers, as well as the Palliative Care nurses.

In Lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in John’s name to the ALS Society of BC.
