  • Teresa Syrnyk says:

In the few times that Paul and I were able to drop by to see Auntie Jean and Uncle Gerry in Kelowna over the past couple of years, we knew Uncle Gerry to be a kind host, a witty and knowledgeable conversalionalist, and a truely attentive person.
On behalf of my siblings Evelyn (Allen), Murray (Maggie) and Peter (Barbara), we send heart felt condolences to Auntie Jean and all of the family. Teresa Syrnyk

  • Corey Langer says:

Dear Auntie Jean, Joni, Peter, and Family,
Thinking of you during this difficult time and sending you much love, hugs, and prayers.
Uncle Gerry was a very special and important person in our lives. He assumed the role of a father figure when Brock and I lost our dad and a very young age, and for that we will always be extremely grateful for. Although he was a man of a few words at times, he was always there for advice, to listen, and to lend a hand, especially when it came to Brock’s numerous projects, of which he got a kick out of! He loved to tease us, but we always knew it was because he cared. Uncle Gerry also enjoyed hearing about Dylan and Brandon’s adventures, especially when it came to fishing.
We will always treasure the time that we spent with him, and the many memories, especially the ones made during the barbeques with his favorite homemade hamburgers!
Uncle Gerry will be deeply missed, but not forgotten, as he will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
    All Our Love Always,
Corey, Rick, Brandon and Dylan Langer

  • Bruce & Janine Glover( Summach) says:

  • Leonard (Len) Holubowich says:

Dear Auntie Jean, Joni, Peter and family,
Our condolences to you and the family! I lived with Gerry and Jean from 1960 – 1963 while I went to SAIT and when I
worked at Imperial Oil Tech Center. We had some fun times going to football games, playing golf, pheasant hunting, going to St. Anthony’ Church and building a bathroom and bedroom in the basement at their home on 7320 Elbow Drive, SW. And Gery and Jean visited me in Montreal when I was at McGill University and I took them to a Can Can dance show..
Cheers, Len Holubowich, 18 Cypress Run, Bluffton, SC 29909, USA Cell: 914-482-1762
