We Remember
MARTIN, Marie Claudette “Kelly”
September 28, 1964 — November 6, 2025
Marie “Kelly” Martin passed away peacefully, with her loved ones by her side, on November 6, 2025, at the Central Okanagan Hospice House, Kelowna, BC.
Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, Marie grew up with a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Whether enjoying the simple beauty of nature or spending treasured time at Kalamalka Lake, she found peace and joy beneath open skies. Life presented her with profound challenges, including the loss of her parents in her early teens, yet she faced every hardship with the same strength and resilience that came to define her.
Marie was always busy—her hands and mind constantly engaged. She loved to draw and colour, finding creative expression in the world around her. Stubborn in all the best ways, she knew what she wanted and met life on her own terms. Her loving nature, lively humour, and unmistakable spark made her unforgettable.
A heartfelt thank-you is extended to Dennis Corbett for his care, kindness, and unwavering support.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving partner of 13 years, Robert Nemez, and her brother, Edgar Martin, of Ottawa, Ontario. They, along with many others whose lives she touched, will remember her determination, warmth, and the joy she carried into every room.

My Love,
We were supposed to have many more years together.
I can’t believe this is happening.
Don’t know how I can go on.
Don’t know if I want to go on. I miss you so much.
You are with me always.
I will think of you every day.
I promised you I would be with you forever, and that still stands.
I look forward to our reunion in Heaven, hopefully it won’t be too long.
All my love forever,
Robbie
PS: There will never be another.
Can’t believe how much this hurts.
I love you.
