We Remember

MCLEAN, Lorne Thomas Andrew

September 2, 1947 — February 18, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of Lorne Thomas Andrew, who passed away unexpectedly on February 18, 2026, at the age of 78.

Lorne is survived by his partner of 10 years, Shirley Rowat; sons Danny (Dawn), Michael (Leanne), and Kevin (Susan); grandchildren Shaun, Ashlee, Arynn, and Kaylie; great-grandchildren Spencer and Tallulah Ann; and many extended family members and friends.

He now goes to join his wife of 42 years, Sherry Ann Pedersen, who passed away in 2013.

Lorne was born on September 2, 1947, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. He graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in Structural Engineering and built a long, successful career in the field, earning respect for his skill and reliability.

In later years, Lorne became a dedicated member of the darts community, playing in weekend tournaments and weekly leagues throughout the Lower Mainland. After moving to the Okanagan, he continued playing at local legions in West Kelowna and Peachland.

Lorne will be missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends will each honour Lorne in their own ways. No formal service will be held.
