We Remember

RITCHIE, Stewart
—
Passed away with his loving family by his side on Friday, February, 21, 2014 at the age of 62. Survived by his brother Robert, sister Marg Walls (Bill Paul) and nephews Braden and Daniel. Sadly predeceased by his parents Bud and Gertrude. Stewart was a true trekkie, completely captivated by all things Star Trek. The family is confident that Scotty has finally beamed him up to the Starship Enterprise, that he is on the bridge, boldly going where no man has gone before. “See you on the other side. Live long and prosper.” If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Share Your Condolences.”
My condolences go to Stewart’s family. I had not seen Stewart for years, but remember him walking around our neighbourhood and I would walk with him sometimes on my way to work. One day he asked if he could hold my hand and if I would be his girlfriend and sadly I had to tell him I was married and he said “don’t tell me that, don’t tell me that” but we still remained friends and walked together. He was a nice man!
So sorry to hear of Stewart’s passing. He was such a funny man. Though he has not attended Pathways (KDSCL) for a few years, he is very fondly remembered.

Hi Ritchie Family, So very sorry to hear of your brother’s passing. I was the receptionist at KDSCL in the early 90’s and I met your brother when I worked there. He was always a great character and full of laughter. Darryl Harrand remembers sharing storries with him about Star Trek, so he sends his sypmathies as well. We will both treasure our moments we had with him. I wish there was something more we could to help ease your pain.
So, so sorry to hear of your loss Marg, thinking of you and your Family xx
I miss you Stewart. Buddies forever. Wilma sends her condolences.
