We Remember

TODORUK, Julian

July 8, 1943 — October 22, 2025

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Julian Todoruk on October 22, 2025, in Kelowna, British Columbia, at 82 years of age.

Julian will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his nieces, Terrilynn (Jim) Nunes, and Tanya (Peter) Bokis, and his nephew, Troy (Cynthia) Scarcelli . He will also be mourned by his dear friend Linda, sister-in-law Shirley (Archie) McConnachie, as well as numerous cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many cherished friends.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Beverly, his parents, Mike and Olga Todoruk, and his brother Merv.

Born outside of Pelly, Saskatchewan, Julian was the eldest of two boys. He had fond memories of growing up on the family’s 328-acre mixed farm, where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working the land alongside his brother and father.

After graduating from the Engineering Technician program at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Julian began his career in Revelstoke, where he met the love of his life, Beverly. The two were married a year and a half later in Saskatchewan. His career in construction took them to many communities across British Columbia before they settled in Kamloops, which became their home for 45 years. During that time, Julian became a partner in Nu Road Construction. In retirement, he continued to keep busy in vehicle sales.

Julian had a lifelong passion for the outdoors – he loved hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He also enjoyed barbecuing, golfing, and dancing the waltz and polka with Beverly.
