We Remember

WIELER, Gordon

October 3, 1945 — March 21, 2026

Remembered for his warmth, kindness, and the joy he brought to those around him.

Gordon Wieler, age 80, of Kelowna, British Columbia, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026, and went to be with the Lord, reunited with his beloved wife, Maxine Ruth Wieler.

Gordon was born on October 3, 1945, in Mistatim, Saskatchewan, to his parents, Susan and Jacob Wieler. He was raised with strong values of faith, family, and hard work, which guided him throughout
his life.

Gordon will be remembered for his kind heart, steady presence, and deep devotion to those he loved. His unwavering faith and gentle spirit touched many lives. He found his greatest joy in his family.

He is lovingly remembered by his children, Angela (Kelly), Andrew, and Robyn; and his cherished grandchildren, Maxine Friesen, Judah Friesen, & Chloe Funk (Silas), and Zander Friesen & Rohrik Wieler (Emma), and Huntyr Wieler, Ryan Patterson, Tyler Patterson, & Joshua Wieler. He is also remembered by his siblings, Martha Ramnath (Jerry), Eva Robertson (Mike), and Trudie Krause (Ernie), along with extended family and many dear friends.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Bill Wieler, John Wieler, Marrian Zacharias, and Hilda Harder.

A family service will be held, with a memorial service to take place at a later date in Sidney, Manitoba.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Okanagan Food Bank or the Root Cellar Food & Wellness in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
