WOODS, Donald Irvine “Don”
February 23, 1937 — December 5, 2024
Don Woods passed peacefully on December 5, 2024. Don was a member of the RCMP Vets, Mission Lions Club and Knights of Columbus. He was a beloved husband to Rosemarie Woods; father to Donna Woods, Rick and Kathy Woods; grandfather to Stephanie and Adam McRurie, Spencer Woods, and Gina Conte; and great-grandfather to Isla Rose McRurie.
Don will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 11:30 am (PST), at St. Charles Garnier Parish (3645 Benvoulin Road, Kelowna, BC) with lunch to follow at the church.

Sorry for the sad passing of Don. I have man
many fond memories of our training days in Regina.
I was one of Don’s troopmates in Regina 1957, a great guy and I remember him with fond memories. Rest in Peace Don, forever memories, Mo Allen

Just learned of Don’s passing. Our condolences to Rose Marie and family. We share many memories of our time at Maillardville Detachment.
We recently were informed of Don’s passing. May your many memories help to sustain you all during this difficult time. The Walker families have you all in their thoughts and prayers. I just finished going though photos of the Walker ‘reunion’ – so happy Don and Kathy were able to attend.
I just heard of Don’s passing. I worked with Don at Maillardville Detahment in late 1958 and 1959.
Lot of nice memerioirs. Big man with a big heart and deep big laugh. We rented a small suite and lived together, I forgot to mention he also had a big appetite., he was a true friend. After my move to Dawson Creek we stayed in touch for a while but lost touch in later years. My sincere condolences to the family. Rest in peace big guy. Myron Misyk.
