PETCH, Laurence

Passed away on February 3, 2015 at the age of 89 years. He is survived by his sister Dolores Meynell, his brother-in-law Arthur Kopp and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Vera of 64 years and his brother Doug.

Laurence was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. Later in life he especially enjoyed RVing with family and friends. He had a strong community commitment, supporting local charities as well as serving for several years on the Board of Directors of Black Mountain Irrigation District.

  • Mary Mann (Minifie) says:

My family was neighbors of Laurence and Vera, for many years. My Dad loved being backed onto their orchard. It was one of his high lights to go out in the spring and fall to help them with the orchard. They were great friends and neighbors. A family, part of Rutland’s history. My thoughts go out to the family.
