My family was neighbors of Laurence and Vera, for many years. My Dad loved being backed onto their orchard. It was one of his high lights to go out in the spring and fall to help them with the orchard. They were great friends and neighbors. A family, part of Rutland’s history. My thoughts go out to the family.
We lived next door to the shop for a number of years, as well my former husband drove logging truck for L & D Petch. Thoughts are with the family at this time of loss.
