We Remember

WILSON, Kathie Evelyn Ileen

Kathie passed away on October 24, 2019 at the age of 67.  She is survived by her loving family: son Gord Wilson (Amy); daughter Crystal Wilson (Dave); grandson Drake Wilson-Gorner.  Also survived by her sisters: Vinna Irvine, Judy Judd and Irene Judd; brothers: Levi Judd and Lornie Neill.

 

Sadly, predeceased by her sisters Evelyn Neill and Bertha Neill; brothers: Alfie Judd, Billy Judd, Carmen Neill, Eddy Neill, Sonny Neill and Whip Neill.

 

Kathie (Kat) (Kathy) was born in Prince Rupert in 1952 to Hilda and Henry Judd.  She grew up in Kirkland Lake, Ontario.  Following her marriage, she relocated to the Okanagan in 1976; shortly after was the birth of her son Gord Jr., two years later came her daughter Crystal in 1978.

 

Kathy loved her family, friends, the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, her many dogs, horses and other pets.  Kathy worked in healthcare most of her life before retirement.  She also spent many years as a fitness instructor.  Kathy had a heart of gold.  Her kids and grandson were her pride and joy.  She also held a special place in her heart for her niece Serene.  She will be deeply missed by all that were fortunate enough to know her and her kind and generous ways.

    My auntie Cathy was the cool aunt to me the music the clothes the blonde hair the big blue eyes she was like my little rock star. She loved to live life and would let any one she thought was good on her life she dodnt judge. I will never forget her and her smile and her laughter and that smile lights up a room when she walked on to it
    I’m so sorry for the loss of another beautiful soul rest on peace my little Angle

    With a very heavy heart my heart goes out to crystal gordie drake and to all the family .my aunty and I had so much fun so many storys and good times she was just so cool and was the first to take me to the bar old train station for a ceasear salad and glass of wine.another good memory was sitting in her back yard singing our little hearts out we love to sing and kept the kids up many nights.so many good memorys.my last memory was one of the best I got together with my sister debbie my brother kevin cousin carmel and uncle billy and my aunty kathy we had good laughs and a real nice outing and many photos. .my aunty cathy the most amazing friend threw out my life she was always there for me. I want to send my deepest condolences to crystal and gordie and family love and miss you all.rip my aunty cathy I love you and will keep singing my heart out that I left with you. I love you

    Sorry for the loss of your mother and grandmother. My parents were Kathy’s godparents. My father Kathy’s first cousin. My father died at age 32 in 1964. My Mom who is now 84 sends her sympathy.
