Fran passed away on February 11, 2014. Survived by her loving husband of 42 years Neil, daughter Lisa (Randy), son Sean (Heather), grandchildren Ryan and Thomas, brothers Chris (Margaret), Jon, and sister Louise.
Fran was a person of immense caring and empathy. She looked to help others, especially the vulnerable, whether they had two legs or four. She always had a smile and a positive comment to cheer someone up. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kelowna SPCA, 3785 Casorso Road, Kelowna, BC V1W 4M7. I was shocked and saddened when I opened our local paper today and saw Fran’s passing. She was so young and vibrant, we are so sorry. Please know that you are in our thoughts and hearts today.

You said it perfectly, Neil,in a recent description to me of Fran, “My Wife Is An Angel!” And that she was! I remember so many special times spent in your home sharing life and laughs together with our families and friends. “Auntie Fran” was adored by my daughters and I will never forget how lovingly she treated them.
