She was predeceased by her beloved brother Ronald Holland. With a traveler’s heart, she embraced what life had to offer and never shied away from new experiences. Phyllis will be greatly missed by her husband, Louis, with whom she enjoyed 66 years of marriage. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her children Carol Black (and husband Gordon), Donna McCardell (and husband Gary), and Ron Rampone (and wife Sue); her grandchildren Ryan McCardell (and wife Shawna), Courtney Ford, Eric Rampone (Alisa), and Josh Rampone, step grandsons, Nathan Black (and wife Shannon) Jonathan Black (and wife Jenn); two great grandchildren Elijah and Tristan Ford; six step great grandchildren Amy; Gibson; Erin; Cassidy; Nicole and Garrett Black and her many lifelong friends. During her years in Kelowna, Phyllis served on the Kelowna General Hospital Board and was president of the hospital auxiliary. She loved gardening and her weekly bridge games. Phyllis lived for her family and friends and truly enjoyed spending time with them. From days spent at her cottage to nights of entertaining, Phyllis never stopped doing the things she loved.

Our deepest condolences on the loss of your Mom. May your wonderful memories of her help give you comfort at this time.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.I have very fond memories of your Mom and how we thought we “were one step ” ahead of her as teenagers, only to find out we were wrong! Chris Roberts Bonner
Ron and family,
I am so sorry to hear about your moms passing. I’m on holidays and unable to attend your moms service. My heart goes out to you and your family at this difficult time. I’ll miss her dearly.
Sincerely,

Phyllis and I were the last direct Holland descendants of our branch of the Holland family. Her death leaves a huge hole in all our families. She was like a sister to me in spirit and the wonderful memories of our times together help to ease the pain of her passing. To Carol, Donna, Ron and families our sincere condolences. Our lives have all been made richer by her presence in them. I am so sorry that I cannot be there to say good bye in person but am there in spirit.
To Ron, Sue and family, As we are unable to attend the service we are sending our condolences on the passing of your Mother. We will always have very fond memories of the great parties we enjoyed with Phyllis. Her smiles and sense of fun were a delight! Patricia and Brian Todd
Louis and the Rampone Family,
I was greatly saddened to hear that Phyllis had passed away so suddenly. We spoke a few weeks ago and she mentioned how much she missed Kaye’s presence in her life. We promised to get together when I returned to Kelowna at the end of March.
I have very fond memories of many salmon fests, flavoured by Rampone applewood, in McKinley, Winfield and Kelowna over the years. They were great times.
Knowing Phyllis,I’m sure she is resting in peace in the presence of the Lord and praying for us.
Sincerely,
Declan O’Sullivan,
Arizona
