Wayne was our best Bud. His silly giggle and ‘not to be trusted’ twinkle in his eyes will not be forgotten. His slam shots on the pool table are renowned from the Fraser Valley to Kelowna, and probably more places than we’ll ever know. Wayne was a real softy, but he would never admit it. He cried easily over his family and friends and remembered kindness long. You all know that he was a college graduate, and how he loved to tell the stories of how often he went to college. You’ld think after all that scooling that he’d be able to spell! Cheesch! We remember with big cheesy smiles the day he lost his bathing suit in the waters of Hawaii, as well as the day Allen and Wayne got the ^%$^ beaten out of them in Hawaii while Mary and I lounged in the soaker tub at a flashy hotel. And while they recuperated in bed for about a week, Mary and I spent the days either on the beach or shopping. We have many fond memories of us four amigos, some of the crazy stunts we pulled, like the time Wayne fixed Allen’s car window….with a rock, then signed it and gave it to Allen! You’ll have to get Mary to explain that one. And on a final note of farewell, Allen says to remind everyone “that we never liked him much anyways”….Farewell Wayne, may your cup never be empty. Rest now, and wait for us, we’ll see you soon enough. Love and Kisses, Peace and Tranquility…your best Buds, Annie and Allen. Farewell Wayne.
Dear Mary and Family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. May you find strength and peace at this time of sadness.
With deepest sympathy and sincere regrets

We were very sad to hear the news Mary. There are no words and Josie and I will just say thank you both for all the wonderful times we spent together.
Dear Mary and family; I worked with Wayne for many years at Consolidated Fastfrate and will never forget him. Wayne was a great person to be around even if you did not see eye to eye with him. He had a very distinct way of injecting his opinions at times, but always was respectful of your opinion. Our many years of working together he shared many stories with me and I’d like to think that he helped in shaping my life and my involvement with the union. I had great respect and admiration for Wayne and Mary you have my deepest sympathy.
