ADEY, Alice Mary

Passed away on May 2, 2013 at the age of 87. Survived by her loving husband Kenneth “Gordon” Adey, sons Dan McGhee (Lisa), John McGhee (Angie), grandchildren Brandee Brechin, Brent, Nathan and Shawn McGhee, great grandchild Jasmyn Brechin, stepchildren Donna Monney (John), Valerie Adey (Peter), Gwendolyn Lee (Arthur), Robert Adey, Linda Lashbrook (Art), Michelle Adey, sister Jeannette Thompson and many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sadly predeceased by her first husband Norman McGhee and brother Gerry Plamondon. Alice enjoyed a career of 35 years with the T. Eaton Company. She was involved with the Auxiliary Royal Canadian Legion since 1970. Alice and Gordon had enjoyed 34 years together in Kelowna. Donations may be sent to the charity of your choice. I am so sorry to see that Alice passed away although I know the last few years have been hard ones for her. I always enjoyed chatting with her either on the telephone or when I dropped off her products. My condolences to you all.
