We Remember


Passed away at the Central Okanagan Hospice House on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the age of 55. 


Predeceased by his parents Emma and Bill.  Leaving to mourn is his loving and devoted wife of 18 years, Louise; children: Mike (Sydney), Adam (Anni), Chris (Kathryn), Manda; grandchildren:  Tegan, Kyler, Callan; Brayden; many other relatives and friends. 


Wilfred was born in Drumheller, Alberta on November 29, 1958 and grew up on the family farm in Hanna, Alberta.  He moved to British Columbia in 1977 with his parents and started his own family.  He was a carpenter by trade and worked for School District 23 for over 20 ears.  Wilfred enjoyed spending time in the outdoors with his family, camping, fishing, quadding and hunting.  He was known for his hard work and sense of humour.  A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 29th at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Central Okanagan Hospice House, 2235 Ethel Street, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 2Z6.  If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Share Your Condolences.”

Give him the challenge and one could always bank on the job being done.
