We Remember

ARNESON, Helen

May 4, 1946 — February 16, 2025

Helen passed away peacefully with her niece Kim by her side on February 16, 2025, at Kelowna General Hospital after a brief and unexpected illness.

She spent 40 years of her life dedicated to working closely with three generations of the Bennett family who took incredibly good care of her throughout her tenure.

She is survived by her longtime best friend Norma Johnson; cousin Gary (Barbara) Dickinson; and second cousins John (Sonja), Katherine (Tom), Mark (Amy), Glen (Arpitha), Kim; and her two dogs Tippi and Charlie who she loved dearly.

The family thanks all the doctors, nurses and specialists in the ICU at Kelowna General Hospital for providing exceptional care.

She will be laid to rest at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery overlooking the city she adored.

In lieu of service, donations may be made to the KGH Foundation.
