Passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the age of 94. Survived by his loving family, two daughters: Barbara Miller (Dennis) of Vernon, Karen Mattioda (Rick) of Kelowna; four grandchildren: Darren Miller, Kristy Miller (Aurie Rieger), Jamie Bowen (Mike Ault), Amber (Jamie) Nilsson; five great grandchildren: Tanner Bowen, Lucas and Klarc Rieger, Chloe Nilsson and Sabina Ault; three sisters-in-law: Kay Burton, Dede Sparks (Carl), Carol Harrison (Ed); brother-in-law Ollie Horton and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Hazel in 2002. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Bobyn for his care of our Dad over the years and also for the wonderful care received from the staff at K.G.H. Emergency. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 28th at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation, 2268 Pandosy Street, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 1T2.
