Elaine and family – My condolences on the loss of a fine woman. Mom and Helen were very close friends for many, many years. I hope she is enjoying a good hand of bridge or curling up a storm right now.
Elaine and Family,
Your mother was so proud of you. I did enjoy curling with her and getting to know this wonderful lady.

Elaine & family:
I was so sorry to read of your mother’s passing this morning. She was a very kind and loving lady. I know my parents thoroughly enjoyed their Mexican lunches, drives together and sharing memories of their family’s history.
Elaine, Allison, Cathy and Kiff. What a great loss you all must feel. I loved Helen and was so grateful to enjoy her friendship. The world was a better place with her in it and she will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Helen was a wonderful neighbour, friend, patient bridge partner and story teller. We send our sincere condolences to all her family. She was truly a very special lady.

Elain and family. What a loss for Kelowna! Helen was my neighbour in Balmoral for over ten years and will always be remembered as a great lady who loved “two fingers of rye with a small amount of ice!”. Her loss removes the living memory of early prairie pioneer life and the connection to ‘listening to war drums during the Northwest Rebellion’ as told to her by her own Grandmother many years ago. Helen will be missed, I send you all my condolences.
I was saddened to hear about the passing of Aunt Helen (Wayne’s Aunt). We shared many good drinks of rye and water( I did my own water) and solved may problems together. it was a pleasure to visit with her, tour the new sights of Kelowna including the restaurants. We had many good times. A very special lady and friend. Gerry
