We Remember
AUSMAN, Christopher Micheal
September 30, 1981 — January 25, 2014
It is with very heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Christopher Micheal Ausman on Saturday, January 25th, 2014. He was outspoken, daring, clumsy, devoted, crazy (but always in the best way), loving, son, brother, friend and most of all, Daddy.
Chris was born on September 30th, 1981 in Kamloops BC. He grew up in Cranbrook and graduated from Mount Baker Senior Secondary in 2000. Eventually he decided that he was a big boy and moved to Kelowna where he worked with his brother Kelly Ausman. Chris enjoyed golf, hockey, baseball, poker, and the company of his many friends. His very favourite pastime was traveling home to be with his family, especially his daughter Dylynn Couttie who he was very proud of.
Chris is survived by his mother Annie Hutton (Bob), his father Eric Ausman (Lorraine and Mchayla), his best friend and brother Kelly Ausman (Kim), Chris Hutton (Kim), Skylar Ross, his sisters Amy Hutton (Eric) and Kathryn Ross as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will also be forever missed by Misty, his very good friend and mother of the love of his life, his daughter Dylynn.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, February 1st at the Eagles Hall, 711 Kootenay St. North, Cranbrook, BC from 1-4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a trust fund for Dylynn’s education, please see her grandmother Annie Hutton for details.
