Sharon, So sorry to hear of Merla’s passing. My sincere condolences to you, your mom and family. Hugh
I am so sorry to hear of Merla’s passing. I enjoyed many lovely conversations with Merla and moments spent up at Culos Farms. I treasured our friendship.
Sincerely
Pam Stapleton
I was shocked to read of Merla’s passing at a relatively young age, however, it certainly started the memories of our times together in the old Foursquare Church in Penticton. May God comfort you as you say good-bye to a beloved daughter and sister, and I pray that you will meet again when God calls you home.
2 Cor. 1:3-4
Sorry to hear about your loss Brent and Michelle.
John and Gayle.
I am so sorry for the loss of beautiful Merla. I went to High School with Merla and though I have not seen her for nearly 30 years, I always remember what a delightful person she was, always smiling and spreading joy. God bless you, Sherry in Carson City, Nevada.
Merla was a big part of my happy days in the Misson. horseback riding, singing recitals and fun at elementary school.sad to hear she left too soon.
I was sad to hear about Merla, she such a nice person. I got to know her and Maggie over the years.I was Maggie’s groomer.
It has been a terrible loss to all of us who knew her.I will miss Merla immensely. She was a great friend. We spoke monthly and I loved hearing about Claire and Josh, her grandchildren. God bless, Merla, until we meet again.

Dear Mrs Lemmon, Brent, Michelle and Family, Barb and Sharon,
We send our prayers and deepest sympathy to each of you at this very difficult time. Merla was a dear and loyal friend through school. Always smiling, she was independent, kind and full of fun. We clocked many miles together in the Kharmin Ghia! I was privileged to be in contact with her over the years and we had good visits in 2010-11. She was so proud of her Brent and Michelle and her two beautiful grandkids. She will be deeply missed. God bless you. Love, Bev Campbell (Duregon) Calgary, AB
My condolences to Merla’s family. Merla and I were very close friends in high school and stayed in touch off and on. She taught me to drive in the old green Morris with no first gear. We often stopped at Orv Laval’s Esso station to buy 50 cents worth of gas to get back to the Mission. I last saw her in 2005 but have not spoken to her for a year or so. I am so sad to hear of her passing.
Brent and family, I worked with Merla years ago in Cobourg, and became good friends. She took me under her wing, as I was newly on my own. I just heard today that she had passed away (thru Peggy-her only other friend on Facebook other than me!) and am so sad to hear this. My prayers are with you and your family and I know I will see Merla again one day! I miss you Mer!
