BAKER, “Les” Leslie Terence

May 29, 1916 — June 20, 2013

Born on May 29, 1916 in Regina, SK, passed away peacefully at the Springvalley Care Center on June 20, 2013. Survive by his loving family daughter Verna Shelley and daughter-in-law Roberta Baker, four grandsons Mike Tomlinson, Hugh Tomlinson, Jason Baker, Sean Baker, two great grandchildren Owen Tomlinson and Elizabeth Baker. Sadly predeceased by his spouse Wilhelmine “Min”, son Murray and granddaughter Peggy. Les served his country during WWII in the Navy and was well known for his affiliation with Singer Sewing Machine Company. Selling owning and the operations of numerous stores in Canada and USA, most recently in Vernon, BC. When he retired he enjoyed traveling with Wilhelmine down South during winters where he could enjoy his game of golf year round. He will be missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
