We Remember
BALDWIN, Brent
—
It is with profound sadness that the family shares the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of Brent; beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, on September 3, 2019 at the young age of 70. He is survived by the love of his life of 40 years, Rhonda; daughters Kelly (Les), and Lana (Matt); son Cory; cherished grandchildren Ella and Olivia; and brothers Scott (Renee) and Dale (Sandy). Brent is predeceased by his parents Jay and Gurney.
Brent lived a long and meaningful life touching many people along his journey.
Brent was born in Antler, SK and raised in Yorkton, SK. He met Rhonda in Edmonton, AB where they had three amazing children that were the center of his world. They moved to Kelowna, BC to raise their family where Brent had a very successful career of 25 years with Freedom 55 Financial.
Brent’s first love was spending time with his family and friends with golf following as a very close second. Brent will be deeply missed, never forgotten and always remembered for his quick wit. Brent will be remembered by all who knew him for his zest for life, living life to its fullest and never being afraid to take on a challenge, big or small.

Rhonda, Scott, Dale and families, We are so, so sad to hear such shocking news. Our thoughts are with all of you now and in the days ahead.
We were sorry to hear the sad news and send our love and condolences to Rhonda, Dale, Scott and families. My memories of Brent go back about 65 years when, as his older cousin, I experienced the mischief he and my brother Hal got into when they were together. The most memorable incident took place in Antler during a Christmas celebration at our home.. All was unusually quiet and we went on a search for the two five year olds. They were found in the basement, with Brent standing on the top of a step ladder they had pulled up to the water cistern. Hal was handing Christmas oranges up to Brent who was pushing them through the round air vent hole into the cistern one by one. Several orange boxes which they had emptied lay on the floor.. So much for my father’s Christmas treat.
May the memories you all shared with Brent when he was with you help you get through this difficult time. You are in our thoughts.
Love Janet and Allan
We were sad to hear of your family loss. Brent was such a dynamic personality and will be missed. Our thoughts are with you and your family.
Rhonda, Scott and Dale; Our very heartfelt condolences to you and your families. Remember the smiles and laughs.

Dear Rhonda, Scott, Dale and families; Our heartfelt condolences to all of you. We are struggling with the shocking news and especially with all the lost years since we last saw you. We have so many happy memories of sharing times with Brent. Today those memories seem seared into our minds and thoughts. Rhonda, we have talked lots today about Brent and you and the good times we had together so many years ago.. We are remembering our first apartments on 124 street and how we could visit each other just by going up and down the stairs, GMAC, how we followed you to St. Albert and we both bought our first homes, playing bridge every Friday night, golfing, ski bus trips, church on the hill, taco night, playing risk, staying up to late to have “just this one and one more”, laughing, telling stories, starting families, Christmas trees with perfect tinsel, visiting you in Kelowna…….. so many wonderful memories. All our love and thoughts are with you. Glenna and Randy
I am just so sorry to hear about Brent’s passing. He was always so nice to me and enjoyed his company. We played Banff Springs in the early 80’s with Scott. Then a few weeks ago in Kelowna., a long awaited reunion., along with Scott and Dale. Well I am grateful for being able to play golf with him.
We can not begin to understand the depth of your loss but we share the pain of Brent’s passing so unexpectedly. Sibylle and I would have been at the service but we are in Saskatchewan today, the 12th actually in Brent’s home town of Yorkton. We miss him. May God bless your family with his comfort and love.
I am very much sadden by the passing of my good friend Brent. Brent is a high contributor to the development of our Kelowna Financial Centre. He had touched so many people’s lives through hiring and helping new advisors joining our business. He will be missed by many of us for sure!
