Passed away suddenly on Monday, October 29, 2012.  Survived by her daughters: Janis Basran (Ken Huber) of Kamloops, BC and Tammy Kittle (Jim) of Fort St. John, BC; two grandsons: Leighton and Rylan Kittle; three sisters: Nancy Basrai of Yuba City, CA, Bev Saggar and Joan Sandhu both of Vancouver, BC; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her husband Karma; parents Milkhi and Parsini Biln; brothers John, Bill and Tom Biln and sister Mary Basran.  A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 10:30 am at Willow Park Church, 439 Highway 33 West, Kelowna, BC.  Cremation.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, 938 West 28th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V5Z 4H4 or the Cancer Centre for the Southern Interior, 399 Royal Avenue, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 5L3.

    I am so saddened to hear of Pearl’s sudden passing. I will miss seeing her on the golf course and sharing stories of her beloved Karma. She missed him terribly and now you, her family, can draw comfort knowing they are together at peace.

    Dear Janice, Tammy & your family, we are sincerely shocked and sorry to hear this of your Mom. We know you are both strong and capable girls but these things are never easy to deal with. Be strong in your faith and it will see you through it. We love you all, Joyce, Bob Lori & Gina.

    so sorry for your huge loss. your mom was a special person. she was so warm and sweet.I have known her for a long time through your auntie Sue, but I also worked with her at B.C.Tel.She was very proud of you both. I know this will be very hard,but I pray that God will provide you with the peace you need to carry you forward.I will miss your mom so much.

    Jan, Ken, Tammy, Jim and all other loved ones, we are very sad and shocked at the loss of Aunty Pearl. We will miss her very much, she was such a beautiful and sweet person. She was right there for us and mom in our time of need with dad. I will always remember the good times with her and how she was always there for us. We love you all and are sorry we are not there. We are there in spirit and in prayer.

    I was so sorry to read of Pearl’s passing. Pearl and I worked together at Telus and since then, Pearl has volunteered at the Scarecrow Festival for the passed 3 years. She was always so willing to help and with a smile on her face. She will be missed. My condolances to her family.
