We Remember

BAZAK, Rose
—
Rose Bazak went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2021, after a brief struggle with cancer.
Our mother, Rose, always had a mischievous twinkle in her eye and a warm smile for all who crossed her path. She had a wonderful sense of humor that everyone loved. She loved to joke around, be silly and make everyone laugh. And we loved that about her too.
Along with her fun side, whatever situation in life she found herself in, her indomitable spirit carried her through.
She was a very hard worker and gave generously of her resources to her family and anyone in need. She made sure everyone was always taken care of.
She loved surprises, both surprising others and being surprised. At the drop of a hat, she would jump in her vehicle for a 1000 km road trip, to show up on your doorstep unannounced.
She loved reading, especially true-life stories. Singing gave her great joy, even to her last moments of life. But she really cherished spending time with others. Of course, this meant lots of laughing, good food, and love.
Rose was an amazing example of one who never held a grudge. She lived with an open hand, receiving, and letting go, as life’s circumstances happened.
Mom instilled in her children her values of hard work, perseverance, respect, good manners, to be loving and caring, thoughtful and compassionate. She was always there for us. We were lucky to gain mom’s silly, crazy, joking around, great sense of humor.
Thanks, Mum. We will always love you. See you in heaven!
She will be deeply missed by her second husband, Arnold; daughters Chris & Gloria and their spouses, sons Rich & Ron and their spouses; blessed with 14 grand-children & 9 great-grandchildren. She also is survived by her sister, Zinnia, and brother, Dave.
Predeceased by her first husband, Paul, and grandson, Ronnie.
Due to Covid, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Gideons or a charity of choice. https://gideons.ca/

My condolences go out to the family of “Aunt” Rose. I met her through one of her nieces and so she became an “Aunt.” to me as well. She was a wonderful, giving person with a great sense of humour. Always ready to help. I know Rose will be missed by many.
Rose truly was a remarkable person. The tribute speaks to her grace and love of life and for others. She truly impacted many people including us.
I am very sorry for your loss and wish your family strength during this difficult time.

I will be missing my friend. She was a help to me so often. My condolences to the family.
May you all sense the comfort of God’s Holy Spirit at this time of temporary loss….we will all meet again in heaven if we have prepared for that reunion.
Auntie Rose, you were smiling or laughing so much of the time. Road trips with you, story telling late in the evening at our cottage late into the night, advice solicited or not! and just enjoying the joys of every day life. I will miss seeing “Auntie Rose” light up on my phone, but I cherish the memories and all the pictures. Till we meet again.
Our deepest sympathy a special person you will be missed. Condolences
David . Donna and Family
