Sincerest condolences to Ness and families of Don Jr. and Darryl.
Dundas Street neighbours for over 40 years.
Fond memories of Don who, as a Councillor, always had the best interests of Vancouver citizens in mind, respected staff, and was available to share City Hall with others. Thank you Don.
Don played such an influence on me in my growing years with the Optimist Band He will be missed but never forgotten My deepest condolences to Ness, Darryl and family
Very fond memories from having drumming instruction in his basement from “Mr. Bellamy” to becoming part of the ragtag group that formed the original Optimist Junior Pipe Band. Many of the disciplines I learned from him have stayed with me throughout my life. Proud to have been one of his bandsmen.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Ness and family at this time. Fond memories of you and Don at Restaurant Association dinners. God Bless

Dear Ness, Darrell and Sandi:
We will always remember Don, his kindness and willingness to help others.
We enjoyed and appreciated all the dinners, concerts, sporting events and restaurant functions he invited us to.
His cheeky smile and sense of humour will always be remembered.
May each day bring less sorrow and a reminder of the love and joy you all shared. He was a special man and it was our privilege to have known him.
With love,
Rena & Harry
Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. We had memorable times as neighbors on Dundas Street. Thank you Mr Bellamy for driving me, Annette and my friend each morning to school. You’ll always be remembered in our ❤️❤️❤️‘S!
Sincere Condolences to you Darrell your Mom and your Family. I have such fond memories of your Dad from our days in the band. He had such a profound and positive influence on so many young people in a way that few others could. A very special man who will always be in the thoughts of so many of those who knew him. Take care my Friend !!
My condolences on your loss. I got to know Don when I became President of the PNE in 1992. One of the first things I did was to make Don the Vice-President, and he was immensely helpful at a difficult and challenging time. He did not let partisan or petty politics get in the way of helping the people of Vancouver and the PNE Fair. He made huge contributions to our city and to the Fair. He was always kind to me, very supportive and a great help to anyone how was in need. He will be missed.
My deepest sympathies.

My life was considerable enhanced for having Don Bellamy as a friend and a work mate. We met forty years ago and I feel so lucky to have called him my friend. He gave me good job advice and always had my best interests. Don Bellamy was a dedicated and hard working man. He will be missed.
A friend of my Father’s (Frank Peterson) from VPD days and mine much later. They played Lacrosse together and I knew him through Music that he always supported and promoted. A voice of reason and common sense on City Council for years. I was proud to call him my friend. A real Gentleman.
Fond thoughts to all, Dale Peterson, Steveston,BC
