We Remember
BERNARD, Wendell
—
Our beloved Papa Wendell Bernard has gone to be with the love of his life, Mary Anne Bernard, as he passed away early in the morning on Monday, September 20, 2021.
Born in 1938 in PEI, Wendell followed Mary Anne to BC, where he made his home. Nicknamed Bernie, he loved to travel & had a passion for cars.
Bernie was the most devoted, loving husband to his wife Mary Anne; and, he inspired his family in that never-ending love, selflessness, and admiration for her. He has inspired us all to seek that type of everlasting love, and we will always remember how much he cared for his family.
Bernie will be missed by his two daughters, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three surviving brothers, and all of his family & longtime friends.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial donation to the Kidney Foundation.

Dear Wendy and Julia, I am so sorry to hear about Wendell. I was just wondering about Wendell the other day, not having seen him since your mother passed away. We four (including Karen) shared many happy moments together.. We two also shared many crazy, weird and happy moments as well, ,but don’t worry Wendell, your secrets are safe with me and will remain so..
My condolences to your kids and god help you, your grandchildren.
Love Hal Bergman
