We Remember

Bernetchez, Ed

— January 1, 1970

Passed away peacefully on November 17th, 2011 at the age of 94. Survived by his longtime companion and friend Jean Barnett of Kelowna and son Brian Bernetchez of Calgary. Ed is the third eldest of twelve siblings. He loved and was loved by all his friends and family and will be sorely missed. There will be a informal gathering at a future date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to support his fellow veterans through the Poppy Fund, Royal Canadian Legion, 1380 Bertram Street, Kelowna, BC V1Y 2G1.

    It is with great sadness that we hear of the passing of our Papere’s (Normand Bernetchez) Brother Ed… our great uncle. Especially just 5 short months of our Papere’s passing. Now that they are reunited in Heaven, may they find peace together… and forever be in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. Warm blessings to you and your families. Jeanna de la Morandiere, Sudbury, Ontario. I have provided a picture of Papere… they look so much alike 🙂
