We Remember
BERNHARDT, Jacqueline
January 24, 1959 — August 18, 2021
With great sadness, we announce the loss of our loving, supportive, and beautiful Jacqueline Bernhardt. She passed away at age 62, while she was surrounded by family, on August 18, 2021.
Born in Prince Albert, SK to the late Art and Evelyn Casavant, Jacqueline was raised in Doremy, SK, and then in British Columbia (including: Coquitlam, Okanagan Falls, and Prince George). She settled in Prince George, where she met Jim and raised her family. In 2005, Jacqueline, her husband Jim, and their five children moved to Kelowna, BC to continue to enjoy life together as a family. Here she stayed. She lived in many places, but the home of her heart was her family, and wherever she was, she was dedicated to raising her children. A passionate designer, Jacqueline also designed eight homes with her husband Jim.
Jacqueline’s memory will be carried on by her loving husband of 40 years, Jim; her five children: Mike, Nick, Jesse, Jason, and Ashley; and her grandchildren: Heidi, Blake, Max, Gia, and Jack; as well as her brothers and sister: Moe, Giselle, Lionel, and Brian. Her spirit goes to join her parents, her brother Mitch, and her niece Jojo.
A Funeral Service will be held to honour Jacqueline’s beautiful time here on earth. To protect those she loved during the pandemic, the service will be invitation only.

We have lost another dear friend way to soon, what a beautiful and wonderful happy go lucky soul Jacqueline was, from when we first met back in Coquitlam in 1972 to hanging out in Paris with So many dear Friends. I will never forget Jackie’s upbeat always positive you can do it personality. We were all such a tight knit group back in OK Falls then Prince George. Watching Jackie become a wife then a mom then. Grand mama, . Happiness was what Jackie was . I will miss Jackie’s awesome sense of humour and her endless support regardless if we only caught up once in awhile. We love you Jackie we always will. Rest In Peace Dear Friend. Love as always David and Francine
