We Remember
BICARI, Anna
—
Passed away on July 20, 2014 and is survived by her three loving daughters; Claudette Craft husband John of West Kelowna, Sylvie Mitchell husband Ken of Edmonton Alberta, Josie Roy husband Norman of Spirit River, Alberta; granddaughters Kristina Craft and Jessica Mitchell and grandsons Ryan and Brandan Roy. Anna was predeceased by her husband Rene and her youngest daughter Stephanie.
Anna was born in Italy and subsequently lived in Quebec, Alberta, West Kelowna, BC and she spoke three languages. She was a loving person who touched the lives of so many people with her kindness and generosity and spent the past 24 years being the full time care giver of her daughter Stephanie who suffered from Kidney Disease. She was larger than life, she had a contagious laugh and a generous heart, but also loved to dance and have fun with her grandchildren. Anna never let life get the best of her no matter how sad she was for her daughter having to struggle through her disease. Anna never gave up hope through her battle with cancer and spoke of all the things she would do once she was better right to the very end. Anna loved unconditionally and she defines the expression, “They broke the mold when they made her.”
She will be missed, but forever in our hearts.
There will be an informal gathering to celebrate Anna’s life on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 10:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home Family Centre, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. My husband Chris and I so enjoyed knowing Anna. What a cheerful, fun and generous lady. We send our sincere condolences to Anna’s family for the loss of this lovely lady.
Votre oncle Lino.
It is with a heavy heart that I write my sympathies to the family of dear Anna Bicari. I was Anna’s upstairs neighbor at Bay Vista for 5 years & shared many good times with her. We talked about her growing up in Italy, & living in Montreal & Edmonton. While her ability to speak 3 languages was admirable, it was also often the source of a good chuckle when Anna would come out with something in all 3 languages at once! Anna was so good to me when my husband passed away, insisting I keep her phone # by my bedside & encouraging me to call any time day or night. She was so devoted to her family & never felt sorry for herself. She was always thinking of others and it is so typical of her to have hope right to the end. I was so sorry to have missed the gathering to celebrate Anna’s life but my thoughts & prayers were certainly with you. I will never forget my friend Anna. May she find her eternal reward for all the goodness she shared in her lifetime. We have lost a very, very special person. May she rest in peace.

Votre cousine Linda
