Born on September 5, 1959 in Etobicoke, ON and passed away on July 22, 2013 in Kelowna, BC. Pete is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Nicki; son, Blair; parents, Bram & Willy; two brothers, Richard (Patricia) and Paul (Josée) and their sons Daniel-Steven, Jean-Paul and Samuel; mother-in-law, Penny; sister-in-law, Julie; God-daughter, Maddi; and his dog and companion, Bono. Sadly, Pete is predeceased by his brother, Edward. A Celebration of Pete’s life will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pete’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, #202 – 1835 Gordon Drive, Kelowna, BC V1Y 3H5, or the Kelowna SPCA, 3785 Casorso Road, Kelowna, BC V1W 4M7 or the South Okanagan SPCA, 2200 Dartmouth Dr., Penticton, BC V2A 7W7. Immediately following the service there will be an informal open house from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Although I have not seen Pete for many years he was part of our family and will continue to be remembered through his son Blair.
