We Remember

BJOLA, Victor

Victor Bjola passed away after a long, hard battle with Alzheimer’s on March 15, 2022. Victor can now rest and truly be at peace. He is held dear in the hearts of his wife of 58 years, Pat; his daughter Shelley and his son-in-law Mark; as well as many friends and loved ones.

Originally from a small village in Saskatchewan, Vic met Pat, and they started their own family in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They discovered the beautiful Okanagan Valley and made it their home in 1975. Victor was dedicated to living his “best life” under the direction and guidance of one Big Book. He lived his life “one day at a time”. A lifeline for a lifetime.

Victor was extremely devoted to his family. He cherished each and every minute of time spent with his wife along the beautiful shores and beaches of Maui. He was so very kind, loving, selfless and always willing to “lend a hand”. He was also very committed and dedicated to his customers and the many friendships built over several generations as part of the Orchard Ford family for over 25 years.

We would like to extend a very special thanks to Dr Mark Sorestad along with the entire “care team” in the Paynter’s Community of Village at Smith Creek in West Kelowna. To all of these wonderful people: Never forget the difference you’ve made – it makes the tough journey easier, it does make a difference in peoples’ lives. You all give so much to so many, every single day. Be proud of the incredible work that you do. Your kindness and dedication are truly appreciated.

Family and friends will honour him, each in their own way, no formal service will be held.
