Dear Bruce;
We are shocked and so saddened to hear of Mary’s passing. We remember with fondness the many happy moments at St. Andrew’s when Mary and you shared the worship, fellowship and life of our parish with such humour and energy. Mary worked diligently in the Women’s Guild and led a life of Christian faith and service. She was a dedicated Anglican and served in so many useful capacities in the Diocese of Kootenay; at Camp Owaissi, St. Andrew’s, and the Cathedral. Her service, along with you in the Canadian military was exemplary before she came to Kelowna, and as a veteran here. We know she was a wonderful wife to you.
May you be comforted in your loss by knowing how many lives she touched for good, and we extend our sincere condolences to you and your family and her many friends.
Randall & Lynn Fairey, Kelowna.
Dear Bruce,
We were caught off guard by Mary’s death. The news brought with it much sadness. You both have been such an example of faith, hope and love. Mary was always so strong in the midst of the recent challenges you both have faced. Our prayers are with you in this time of loss and we offer our prayers of thanksgiving for Mary’s life of grace and service.
We will miss the kindness and great laugh. Sorry we did not know she was ill and glad she is not suffering . Mary was so so kind with all the oranges she sent next door for Rich especially. Bruce please, let us know if we can be of help!!! We would be more than willing. Strength and condolences to all !!!!
Sending our deepest condolences to you Bruce and your family. We have good memories of you and Mary when we lived on Scott Crescent and we when we would see you both sitting up high across from us at the Rockets games when we lived in Kelowna. So sorry for your loss…Mary was a kind lady who made an impact.
