We Remember
BOSTOCK, Dawn Marie
—
With broken hearts we are letting everyone know of the passing of Dawn Marie Bostock on November 22, 2015 after an extremely courageous and difficult battle with cancer. Born in Calgary, Alberta on October 20, 1964, Dawn lived her childhood and youth making many life-long friends along the way. At the age of 17 she met the love of her life, Bruce, on Gyro Beach the summer after graduating from high school. They began a life together filled with laughter and love.
Dawn is survived by her loving husband Bruce and amazing children Jeffrey and Rachel, her devoted mother Peggy Forbes, her sister Lana Evans and her nephew Noah. She was predeceased by her father Gib Forbes. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Ann Bostock, brothers and sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dawn possessed a magnetic fun loving personality. She had a great sense of humour and was thoughtful and generous, with a stubborn streak. She made an impact on everyone she met and has more friends in this world than she probably ever knew about. She had stellar work integrity and loved and valued her job and those she worked with immensely. Dawn was most happy on the beaches (and shopping) in beloved Maui with friends and family. She will be forever and always missed.
There will be a celebration of Dawn’s life on Monday, November 30th at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
Should family and friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to: the Breast Cancer Society of Canada www.bcsc.ca or Karis Support Society (Kelowna) www.karis-society.org .
