BOURGEOIS, Raymond Joseph
December 16, 1933 — July 21, 2022
In loving memory of Raymond Joseph Bourgeois, born December 16, 1933, in Gravelburg, Saskatchewan.
Ray passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on July 21, 2022, at Kelowna General Hospital. Ray leaves behind his loving wife of 16 years, Dawn Cynthia Bourgeois (née Duncan).
Ray was predeceased by his first wife, Geraldine Anne Bourgeois. Together they have four sons and 11 grandchildren: Raymond (Sophia) and grandchildren Abraham, Alexander & Karly; Greg (Kathy) and grandchildren Sarah, Simone & Ricco; Steve (Marcia) and grandchildren Carmen & Jesse; and Paul (Colleen) and grandchildren (Paul’s children) Gerett, Ethan & Keith. Ray also has 14 great-grandchildren.
Ray enjoyed playing cards, curling and loved telling jokes. Ray was a kind and loving soul and will be dearly missed by his wife, family, and friends.
As per Raymond’s request, he will be cremated. A private Memorial Service will be held in Kelowna, BC on Saturday, July 30, 2022. An additional Memorial Service to be held in Alberta.

My grandpa was an incredible man. He was always positive, kind and forgiving. He taught me a lot through the time I spent with him. I will always remember going over to my grandparents house and hearing all of his amazing jokes! If you knew him you knew the infamous “joe” joke that he got his nickname from. I miss him already but I know he is celebrating in heaven now. I love you grandp, thanks for caring for my granny ❤️
